American Services committee youth program AFSC – American Friends Service Committee’s GLBTQ Youth Program: an international Quaker organization that includes people of various faiths who are committed to social justice, peace, and humanitarian service. Programs range from efforts to bring peace to various African, Middle-Eastern and South Asian countries to criminal justice and sweatshop reform to immigrants’ rights. AFSC’s Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender & Questioning Youth Program offers: Internships: paid, part-time work for GLBTQ youth ages 14-22 for personal and professional development. Trans Youth Services Project: provides, in collaboration with Lambert House, services transgender youth in the Seattle Metropolitan area including a weekly trans youth support group, a monthly social activity group, and a resource person available on-site at Lambert House. Isis House Isis: Transitional living for homeless youth, emphasizing service to sexual minorities (LGBTQ young adults ages 18-21 -- for younger youth see "The Shelter" or "La-Ba-Te-Yah"). Seattle Young Peoples Project Seattle Young People's Project: a youth-run and youth-led organization that empowers youth to express themselves and to take action on the issues affecting their lives. SYPP sponsors an annual Young Women's conference each summer and an Annual MLK Day Hip Hop show in January. Any youth is welcome to come to SYPP for support of their youth led social change project. Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle Empowers and assists African-Americans, other people of color and disadvantaged individuals in becoming self-sufficient through public advocacy, providing services and developing strong business and community partnerships.

Youthcare Youth Care is an adolescent residential treatment center set in a home like environment for youth ages 11 to 18 who are experiencing academic, emotional, or behavioral problems including substance abuse. Our intensive, therapeutic residential treatment center for troubled teens is licensed to treat youth.

Although this program is operated by Senior Services of Seattle/King County it provides low-cost home repair for low-income homeowners regardless of age. Also, disabled renters may be eligible for disability access modification with the consent of the landlord

Free legal help to eligible low-income tenants who would otherwise appear without legal representation at their eviction hearings. Individuals who have a Show Cause Hearing on the same day as their visit to the HJP receive priority. Services include information and educational materials about the eviction process; referrals; legal advice; negotiations; and representation at eviction hearings. Serves North King County and Seattle residents. Open 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. M-F. No appointment required.
