Your gift buys what goes in the bag.

Students and volunteers do the packing and delivering. The money goes to supplies, bought wholesale.

What does $25 pay for?

One backpack filled with essentials: food, hygiene supplies, and warm clothes. Contents change with the season and with what our partners say people need.

Can I give monthly?

Yes. Tick Make it monthly above, or choose monthly in the GiveButter form. You can change or stop a monthly gift any time from the GiveButter donor portal.

Can I give to a specific chapter?

Most gifts support our national mission through GiveButter and go where they are needed most. If GiveButter or your donation note lets you name an active chapter, we will honor that. Chapters that are still starting get support through national until their own giving path is set up.

Can I donate supplies instead?

Yes, by prior arrangement only. Email info@thebackpackproject.org so we can tell you what we need, where to send or drop it, and when. Please do not drop off donations without checking with us first.
